SHARON DE MASCIA B.A (Hons), MSc, M.A, Dip TM, MCIPD, CPsychol, AFBPsS

Sharon De Mascia is a Chartered Business Psychologist and HR/HRD professional. She is an Associate fellow of the British Psychological Society and a member of the Chartered Institute of People and Development. She is qualified to use a range of Psychometric instruments including: OPQ, 16PF, Wave, MBTI, Firo B etc and is experienced in the design and delivery of assessment and development solutions. She has over 17 years experience of delivering change management and other organisational initiatives across both public and private sectors. In the past she has worked with: Dorset Training and Enterprise Council, the NHS, Tyneside Training and Enterprise Council, The Employment Service, The Highways Agency and The Co operative Insurance Society. More recently she has worked with: the Royal Mail, Rolls Royce, Sainsbury Centre, Mendas and Marks & Spencer.

She has extensive project management experience and is Prince2 qualified as well as being a qualified coach. Sharon also specialises in stress audits/ Risk Management, Stress Management and managing mental health in the workplace. Sharon is an examiner for the international baccalaureate and an examiner for both the ‘Health Professions Council’ and the ‘British Psychological Society’.

She is a registered trainer for the Beyond Blue programme and a published writer as well as being an associate lecturer for MMU Business School.  Sharon is also a Chartered Scientist.

On a More Personal Note

Sharon is passionate about the Spanish language and teaches it in her spare time. She also enjoys writing and is currently completing a book for Gower Publishing.

GILL BREWER C. Psychol. (Occ.), BSc Hons

Gill is a chartered occupational psychologist and has been registered with the British Psychological Society since 1997. As an experienced executive coach, Gill uses psychometric test feedback to help others raise their levels of self-awareness, adopt more effective patterns of personal and interpersonal behaviour and build successful individual and career development plans. Using a combination of psychometric feedback and experiential learning she delivered a series of coaching sessions to develop individuals followed by team development events as part of a large-scale, culture-change programme in a manufacturing company, addressing strategic issues with directors (vision, values and goals) as well as leadership, team and personal skills gaps amongst managers.

Gill is a skilled process facilitator and uses experiential learning techniques with groups, enabling work teams from across industry sectors to optimise their performance and embrace organisational change. Gill is a published writer and editor of business articles, corporate newsletters, brochures, case studies and journals. She writes a range of reference material for human resource managers. She has been asked by the media (newspapers, radio and magazines) to talk about psychological issues in the workplace. Gill is skilled in composing personality profiles and summary reports for individuals who have attended assessment centres and delivers effective writing courses. She currently tutors degree and AS level students in Psychology.
